memory stick madness

I'm having a bit of an issue with my memory stick on my camera....sometimes it works....sometimes it doesn't.....it has a mind of it's own. Sometimes I will take pictures and it "looks" like it worked, but when I go back to review them....all I get is a blue screen. ANNOYING! So for all you people that are obsessed with Aiden and I, as well as our blog (just kidding) this is why there are no pics posted since Easter. I know that when I go and read someones blog, my favorite part is seeing the pictures. Seeing how everyone's family is growing, changing, what adventures they have been on is my absolute favorite. I HAVE to get a new stick this week, it's a must. Who knows who really cares about what pics I post and when, but I do. :) But, whenever I am at the store, I am so focused on getting out of there before Aiden gets rowdy that I forget! I'm usually yaking on the phone too so that doesn't help my concentration...surprise surprise! I have a few other errands to run....wedding gift....top secret birthday stuff...blue handbag hunt...etc. Those are all FUN things on my to-do list, but still things nonetheless. Looks like I should leave Aiden with Magga and get to it!

Babysitters anyone?!?

How annoying is it to have your sisters make plans without you to go to dinner and a movie and then they say, "Ohh...I wish you had a babysitter....we're going out." EWWWWW!!! Hello! YOU are my babysitters you bratfaces! Actually, I'm not that annoyed at them. I mean....my social life is rockin. My nights consist of doing dinner, giving Aiden a bath, making "baba nooks" (milk in a sippy), and watching Rocket (Little Einsteins), Veggie Tales, or Backyardigans until I can't stand it anymore and Aiden falls asleep. Yep..that's the nuts and bolts of it....7 nights a week almost. Occasionally, we change it up, like have tickle wars, or tonight, for example we sung "Popcorn Popping" about 25 times in a row because Aiden likes to "pop" his hands like it's popcorn and do the other actions. He kept laughing and saying, "again again!" Too cute. He's ready for primary! Things like that make me never care if I "go out." So there. Go to your movie and dinner. You're missing out! :)

Easter and other tid bits of life

It has been a month since I have posted anything on here. Yikes! Time flies when you're busy. Anyway, much has been going on here, and at the end of everyday I just want to freakin RELAX! But in all honesty, I think I thrive in chaos. What else would I have to complain about right? Aiden had his second birthday on March 19th, and had a good day. We didn't do a party this year since life is well.....a bit crazy if you will. But, Aiden had a great time that night. We took him to Chuck E. Cheese for pizza and rides, (he loves riding in the cars over and over and over). It was just Aiden, Magga (my mom), myself and Logan and her BFF Alena. It was low key, which was definitely welcomed. Aiden received lots of gifts this year. His favorites were his new "rocket" videos, Backyardigans boat and his "Twuck." He is the proud owner of a Power Wheels F-150, complete with wood grain stickers! Where were these when I turned two....sheesh! He's really starting to act like a two year old that's for sure. Gotta love the ability he has to go from sweet to BEAST in less than 2 seconds! I know it's only the beginning...so I better get ready :)

I finally started working for real last month. I am back at Compliance Alliance with Tracy, managing all of the dental compliance programs. It's been fun to be back, but still an adjustment nonetheless. At least Aiden loves daycare now. His teacher is Mrs. Cathy, and Aiden calls her "Faffy." I took him in the other morning, and she was out in the front office. He saw her and went running over to her to pick him up. That makes leaving him there all day so much easier! They give each other kisses now, and Aiden wakes up some mornings talking about Faffy and starts singing a good morning song they do at school. Too cute. That kid loves his songs and loves signing. If the volume in the car is too low...you'll hear him in the back yelling, "a song! a song!" I have brainwashed him into loving Rascal Flatts, and he loves to sing "Broken Road." It's too funny!

Easter was nice, and I will post pics with this post. Aiden really got into the egg hunt, and once he figured there was candy in his eggs.....he sat by the pool and got to it! Boy after my own heart I swear! It was a great day..the weather was beautiful and we enjoyed being together as a family.
